The Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts 2011 Studio and Art Tour opens wide its doors to the region on Friday June 3, Saturday June 4 and Sunday June 5, 2011 in Collingwood, Nottawa, Duntroon, Castle Glen, Craigleith, Thornbury, Clarksburg and Wasaga Beach. Look for the golden yellow and white signs throughout our community a week before the event.

Seventy three artists (20 new!) are taking part in the event this year, working in diverse mediums such as paint, photography, pottery and ceramics, textiles, glass, and wood. The quality of the artists work is exceptional and well worth marking your calendar to see! You will find BMFA brochure/maps in the Arts Centre, local shops and locations and on our website www.bmfa.on.ca  The cover photograph was taken by artist Lenore Burton.

Walking tours in the towns and riding tours in the country are all part of the experience. Enjoy our wonderful restaurants in the region while out and about.

A Studio Tour Artists’ Exhibition in our historic main street Arts Centre in Collingwood at 163 Hurontario Street will be held from June 1 to June 26. The work in the gallery is all for sale. Start your Studio tour here!

5th Annual Golf Tournament

An event for everyone, our annual golf tournament, silent auction and dinner is happening on Thursday

June 16, 2011, at OslerBrook Golf and Country Club. 

There will be cash prizes per team: $1500 First Place, $1200 Second Place and $1000 Third Place.
